Data & Advocacy Briefs |
Rhode Island Public Health Briefs are created by RIPHA to communicate to the general public the value of public health with topic-specific examples. These briefs present basic public health data, including risks and health outcomes in Rhode Island in comparison with other states or the United States. The focus of these briefs is on providing factual information. The intent is not to discuss policy options or to engage in direct advocacy.
The anticipated target readers for these briefs is the general public, legislators, and our advocacy partners in public health. These briefs are not intended to answer the inquiries of clinicians or public health professionals, but may be of use for communications with patients and others.
