RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION

RIPHA advocates for public health in Rhode Island as an educator and convener of public health partners. Through our educational events and publications, RIPHA provides factual information about health topics and engages conversation on possible policy choices to create well-informed policy and a well-educated public.

• The Public Health Think Tank is a collaboration between lawmakers and public health advocates to exchange ideas and evidence to improve the health of Rhode Islanders.

• Rhode Island Public Health Data Briefs and Advocacy Briefs are created to provide information in some depth to members of the general assembly, opinion leaders, and the general public.

Advocacy for RIPHA is the provision of timely facts to support decision-making processes, as well as the relationships and opportunities to share those ideas and serve as a public health resource for Rhode Island.
