I am a second year Public Health major at Johnson & Wales University. Although I am new to Providence, I can already see the potential for public health involvement all over the city. As the President and founder of the Public Health University Board, I look forward to working with my University and RIPHA to assess and proactively work to create a better and brighter Providence.
I am a second year Biology major at Johnson & Wales University with an interest in public health. I’m originally from Willington, Connecticut. While I believe medicine is important, public health measures are the forefront way to solving problems in our world. I’m looking forward to collaborating with RIPHA throughout the rest of my collegiate career.

My name is Vianna Fana; I’m currently a junior at Johnson & Wales University in my hometown of Providence, Rhode Island majoring in Biology. I’ve always been attracted to the healthcare and medical field as I have always wanted to use my knowledge to help people. Specifically, I can be a voice for women’s health issues and be a role model for my Dominican American community. In addition to being endlessly curious about the scientific world and enjoying new challenges, I want to be a helper for my community.
I am a third-year biology major. I am devoted to raising public health awareness in society, starting at the university level. I want to educate my peers and professors on the importance of a healthy environment. By taking part in projects and involving those around us, we will make our community a better place.
